At Outpost, we facilitate group ownership of châteaux across France. This flexible model allows you to sell or rent your space to friends, family, or use it for business retreats and workshops. Ownership shares start as low as $80,000, with an annual fee for maintenance and amenities. A dedicated caretaker lives on-site to ensure the estate remains in pristine condition.

Outpost is a collective of entrepreneurs developing communities in France and Italy. Curated groups fill houses with purpose and provide all the resources needed for retreating or retiring in Europe. We take the guesswork by providing real estate, law and immigration professionals to guide you through the process. We can also assist with general real estate purchases and rentals, corporate retreats and expat connections.

Michelle discovered her passion for France over a decade ago while living near Avignon. She has traveled throughout southern France and started Outpost as a way to engage with other entrepreneurs looking to invest in properties in the region.

Zelda Thomas spent a transformative year living in Milan in 2023. With a track record of founding successful companies, Zelda's frequent visits to Rome over the past 37 years, visiting her sister, have deepened her appreciation for Southern Europe.

Based in Paris and Aix-en-Provence, his team provides support, from market research and property visits to negotiations, financing, legal requirements, and renovations.
